  • Service

    Service in our community is an important part of Advent’s youth ministry. In our first year, we volunteered twice at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, helping to sort over 50,000 pounds of food for those in need, and at the Lake 5k for Hope. We have also served at events within our church community, including Santa breakfast, the father-daughter dance, and the Easter egg hunt.

  • Events

    See photos from our monthly events here! We have at least one event each month outside of our biweekly Teen Connects on Sunday. Some of our favorites so far have been the back-to-school bonfires, mini golf, and a private movie screening.

  • Teen Connect

    Join us every other Sunday at 9:30 in the high school room for Teen Connect. During our Sunday School, we will explore topics ranging from the Bible to subjects such as the creation of time, evolution versus creationism, and world religions. All students in grades 9-12 are welcome!

Meet Your Youth Director

Hi! My name is Brooke Santabene, and I have been the Youth Ministry Director at Advent since March of 2024.

My husband and I moved to Uniontown in 2023 and were married at Advent in 2024. We have 2 dogs and love to spend our time out with them. I work full time at Summit Academy Management in Akron.

I have loved getting to know the teens, what they’re interested in learning about, and seeing how talented they all are. I look forward to continuing to grow our youth program and getting our youth more involved with the congregation.
