Several fun events are planned each year.
Planned events will be advertised in the church newsletter and in the weekly
bulletins.
Caroling is for all ages as we
deliver baskets of goodies to our older members and
those who are homebound, on
a Sunday afternoon close to Christmas.
The Annual Meeting is held on the third or fourth Sunday of January.
Our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
is held the evening before Ash Wednesday.
The menu always includes a
variety of pancake flavors, from buckwheat to chocolate chip.

Special Meals organized by our Outreach Committee are delivered to members after they return home from the hospital.
Funeral Dinners are prepared and
served as a way to care
for bereaved families when a member of the congregation
passes away.
FISH is a cooperative effort of
the Lake Township churches providing emergency assistance to families in need.
As a congregation we contribute financially to FISH and collect items for their
food cupboard on the
third Sunday of each month (but items can be brought to the
church any time).
Quilters meet from January through
June on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. Home sewers can also contribute.
In
September the quilts are tied and then delivered to Lutheran World Relief in
October.

During the year we regularly provide the
opportunity for members to reach out to others, such as:
collecting school
supplies for area children, adopting a family/agency at Christmastime by
providing gifts,
special offerings for World Hunger and Disaster Relief, collecting supplies for Hartville Migrant Ministries,
furnishing an apartment
for a low income family, Habitat for Humanity, participation in annual
CROP Walk
for World Hunger, Mother's Day Baby Shower for single mothers in need.
